Elementary School Program
Building upon the foundational skills developed in preschool, AGPS provides age-appropriate lessons in an active learning environment, where professional and committed teachers interact with students to foster growth and development in each student. Students continue to develop numeracy and literacy skills while sharpening critical thinking skills in math and science by considering the “Hows” and “Whys” of the inner workings of their world.
In addition, we have structured a variety of after-school enrichment activities that help your children position themselves for the future. These activities develop children’s “soft skills” of social interaction and leadership with their peers. They are designed to provide and enhance the physical, academic, and interactive qualities as lifelong interpersonal skills.
The Elementary School program is a six-year course which is designed to give your child a better understanding of English including Mathematics, Science, Social Studies, Civics and Values education, Music Literature, Arts and Crafts, and Health and Physical Education.
